Facts about Brazil.

For this creation I researched a bit about the hosts of the Olympics, Brazil.  I made an animated slideshow to present my findings.

Home links with bob.

I did a home link on the Olympics. For the task I created a mini Lego Olympics that went horribly wrong(for the Lego men not me)    

Saint john visit.

This week Denise from Saint Johns came to our school to teach us about about what Saint John does. I learnt how to do CPR and about the recovery position I also learnt about her tools and experiences. My favorite part was when we played the Joe game. The Joe game is a game were we make a list of some things we would take on a tramp we had round about 5 minutes to do this. After that someone reads a story about Joe and his friends going on a tramp paragraph by paragraph. in the second paragraph Joe gets hypothermia and in all the paragraphs after that it keeps getting worse and we have to keep Joe alive with the things on the

yesterday my class and me did a brainstorm on well being. A well being is what makes you, you for example you might be a very good athlete It means that your physical well being must be very strong. Our  was divided into four parts the physical well being, emotional well being, social well being and spiritual well being. Then today we started to make a whare/house representing the four well beings on its four walls. we only got the walls today you can see my walls above the well beings on them are ordered emotional then spiritual then social and then physical.        

Line graphs.

This is a line graph showing the average rainfall every month. A line graph is a graph that shows information with dots inline with two marks on the sides of the graph depending on there value. these dots are joined up by lines giving this graph it's name.     

Ski trip

On Friday the the 28th of July our class the year 4-8s  went on a ski

p I like how my instructor was really flexible because I think I might have chosen a lesson that was to easy but the instructor made it a bit harder.I really like how the year 4-8s go skiing every year and I really look forward to going next year because it is so much fun and I learn so much!
m the only thing that wasn't so good would have to be the speed of the poma and the magic carpet because it went so slow and the magic carpet stops a lot.
i It was interesting how there were not many keas hanging around the car park. I also think it was interesting how it snowed wile we were there.

next time I go I am deferentially going to go up the chairlift and I will hopefully go even higher than that.

Over all I think it was worth it to go skiing this year!

Egyptian art inquiry.

                     

For the past week our class has been doing art inquires. I did my one on Egyptian art because did you know that there pyrimads and hieroglyphics where art! watch slideshow above to find out more. 

Bowl a fact

Today my maths group played bowl a fact. I got all the numbers except 1 and I recon the hardest one to get that I did get would be three what I had to do was cube 4  then subtract 6 squared then divide it by 4 the answer was 3.
