Narrative writing

In my writing I learnt a lot about punctuation and dialogue in speech because I used an awful lot of speech in my narrative. Narratives are my favourite writing genre so I had a lot of fun writing this. My favourite part was coming up with the ideas and my least favourite part was editing and proofreading it. I think this piece of writing went really well.

Here is the video of me reading it aloud.

To start this game press the flag and highlight all the letters green by sliding over them. To move you need to adjust the gravity by pressing the up and down arrows, you also need to adjust the speed using the left and right arrow keys. after you have started the aim is to touch the finish flag to pass to the next level. objects such as blocks and cannons can be broken by hovering your cursor over them and pressing b. This will open a box where you have to type in how big the object is via cm answer this question to destroy the object. objects can be measured by clicking and dragging the ruler in the top corner to the correct position. to get rid of the ruler click on it. try not to get hit by cannonballs and have fun.PS: you can set the gravity to zero by pressing space and speed to zero by pressing s.

Weekly weekend journal.

This weekend on Saturday I went to play hockey for the first time. It was only the first  for me though because lots of training's had been going on but missed them because of swimming lessons. It was a just few ten minute games to find out who the best teams where and what positions everyone suited best. My team won all the games we played.

Science roadshow reflection

                                                     Science roadshow reflection
Today our class went to a science roadshow at the grey mouth high school. We got to see and do really cool things, we got to see through an infra red camera, ride on a hovercraft and all kinds of cool stuff. I learnt what frequency infra red waves travel at compared to other waves. Here are some photos.
There were many exhibits around a hall and we were free to explore. It was really fun, the only downside of this event was that we did not get enough time to explore it all. one of my favorite exhibits was seeing electricity dart between two wires. I am glad we got this opportunity to see this I would like to thank all the adults who made this possible.
