This week for homework I continued some writing I am doing at school. The title of my writing is Hidden life (part two). here is a snapshot of the first paragraph.

They were afraid, but they called upon all their courage to overcome what was happening. There  was a human in front of them with his eyes closed and chanting some mysterious words. All of a sudden they started to feel less real, they glanced down at themselves they were starting to fade away from existence. They fled out of the town hall from this man in terror and panic all heading in different directions. One of them a little boy ran into a museum and stopped to catch his breath at an Egyptian exabit. The exhibit was about the eye of Horus and what it could do. It was legended that it could prevent magic from being used, but every wizard and witch new that that was a fact. The young wizard gazed up at the eye of Horus and saw that it was faintly glowing. The boy felt more real, he looked down at his feet they were more solid. He wanted to get out of this museum and try to find that man so he slowly creeped across the stone floor of the museum. But when the eye of Horus was out of eyesight he started to fade again. The wizard quickly ran back into the room with the eye of Horus and thought, it won't be that easy.

To make this little game I had to think about all the forces that might affect a cannonball's flight. Change the different sliders to alter how the cannon ball will fly and the press space to shoot it.

Demon Dentist responce

At school we have been doing response writing. For my I did my response on the book demon dentist by David Walliams. We had to write a written response then we could do a creative response. I made a movie for my creative response.

Demon Dentist by David Walliams is a story about a brave young boy named Alfie (whose teeth are totally rotten) that is trying to figure out who is putting ghastly things under people's pillows.He discovers that the new dentist, Miss Root, is guilty of this crime as well as being a tooth witch. She is trying to build an evil lair out of teeth. Alfie and his friend Gabz go on a quest to stop her.

Demon Dentist is an intriguing and amazing story by David Walliams that really brings the fear of dentists to life.

Demon Dentist is intriguing because of how readers never know everything, it really makes you want to read on. For example readers do not know who is putting the strange things under people's pillows. As well as the storyline being intriguing, so is the title, because when readers see the title Demon Dentist they think this book is going to exaggerate the fear of dentists.because when readers see the title Demon Dentist they think this book is going to exaggerate the fear of dentists.

Demon Dentist is a really exciting book because it is just so crazy, unbelievable but realistic too. For example a crazy part is when Winnie a social worker drives her moped up and downs stairs chasing a boy who doesn't want to go to the dentist. An unbelievable part is when Miss Root and her cat come out of a pot of acid toothpaste as skeletons.

Demon's Dentist is a really active book that puts you on the edge of your seat. It is active because there is always something exciting and interesting happening. For example just after Alfie has been chased all over his school by Winnie on her moped he has all his teeth pulled out by an evil dentist.

Overall Demon Dentist by David Walliams is an intriguing, exiting, active and amazing book that everybody should hear, as well as all his other books. Here are a few of them: Awful Auntie, Grampa’s great escape and Gangsta Granny.

On Saturday my sisters hockey was cancelled so she came to the pool with me and my brother. She did not do any swimming lessons though. After that we went to the warehouse and then we went home. In the holidays we are going to go to nelson to see an art exhibition on Leonardo's inventions.

Weekly weekend journal

On the weekend my friend came over for a sleep over at my house while my sister went to a sleepover at her friends house and my brother went on a cub camp. My friend had to leave a about half past two, my sister came back at 9:30 AM and my brother came back at about 3:30. My brothers camp was at the yacht club and there were only about 15 kids there. My sisters sleepover was because it was here friend's birthday.

On Saturday after I had my swimming lessons and my sister's hockey at five o-clock we went to my cousin's  engagement party. On the way there it was so foggy that we could only see a meter in front of us. The party was at a helicopter hanger in Ahaura and we got home at about half past 10. On Sunday I had my friend come over for the day for my birthday.
