WALT: solve multiplication problems using SWF

Cross country

Yesterday our school had cross country, it was held at the kamura racecourse. My race was first because I am a year six, I just had to run two KM (two laps) witch was the same as last year. I got sixth and about the same time as last year although I got third last year. We had to leave at nine-o'clock in the morning to get there in time and we stayed until about nine thirty. 

Dance styles

This term we have been learning how people use The Arts to communicate. We have been investigating the characteristics of different dance styles, we practised our note-taking skills. We experimented with each dance style our self and created our own dance sequence.

Weekly weekend journal.

On the weekend most of my scout group went to a two night camp up by nelson with another scout group called Iron Duke. It was about a four and a half hour drive and we arrived there at about nine-o-clock PM. on the first day we had a rotation of activity's and the activity's they were: making waggles (things that tie up our scarfs), practising skits that we would later perform at a campfire and making mobiles. At night we sang songs around a camp fire and performed our skits.

On Saturday my brother and I went to swimming lessons in Grey mouth at 9:00 while my sister kaelyn went to hockey. after that we all went to countdown to take over a Lake Brunner Sea Scout fundraiser which we did for 2 hours. We where selling raffle tickets and there was three prizes to be won. After our two hours where up the next people on the list came and took over and we went home.

Weekly weekend journal

This weekend on Sunday I continued to make a bush track that me and my siblings started quite a while ago. The bush that the track is in is roughly east of my house. To make the track me my brother and my sister use a: slasher, some big choppers and a handsaw. We doubled the track in length because we had broken out of the really thick part of bush. We also had to install a bridge because there was a creek in the way. the bridge was made out of an old bit of wood that was just lying around. Next we need to do some repairs on the bridge because the wood is rotten and cracked in some places. It is really fun to make bush tracks because we have so much land covered in bush to explore.
